Robert Howard grew up on the San Carlos Apache Reservation in Arizona experiencing first hand the frustration and lack of opportunity for the members.
Having advanced to Tribal Vice Chairman at a young age, Robert believed he could be more effective to initiate change through a position revolving around economic development. He used his two Degrees from Arizona State University and his understanding of the needs of his fellow Apaches to create an environment where the people are encouraged to learn the business through working and then work towards ownership.
In a roughly four year time span the enterpriseshe has helped develop have employed 200+ members of the Tribe. His vision follows exactly ours at the Kuleana process. Create a mindset of ownership and keeping Native money and employment on Native lands.
