A humble man with incredible skills to motivate and encourage young people to expand their boundaries, Harvey graduated from Grand Canyon University and acquired his Masters in Education Leadership from Northern Arizona University.
Harvey spent 30 years at Hopi Jr/Sr High as a teacher, Vice Principal, Coach, and many times held many fill in positions such as Superintendent and Athletic Director for the School District.
His Coaching skills earned Hopi many Arizona State Cross Country State Championships. The exact number is hard to acknowledge because he believes in training the girls to understand their potential, not to seek recognition.
Harvey is instrumental in co-developing the lesson plans for the Kuleana project. His knowledge of native education and what works and what doesn't is omni-important.
